Going DW Only

Given LJ's recent tactics with privacy (lack thereof) and advertising (too much, and intrusive), I'll be removing the cross post feature from my DreamWidth account, and posting to DW only (on those few occasions I do post!).

If anyone wants a DW invite, I still have a few unused - just let me know.

I guess I missed what Live Journal was doing with privacy. I almost always have my posts locked to friends only.

I have enough issues keeping Facebook locked down to friends only - I didn't realize LJ was playing fast & loose with our privacy settings too.

That, and they're tracking links you may post, and recording information about what users are clicking on, etc.

All over, it's become unpleasant enough for me to make the shift.

Plus, I've got my daily tweets hitting DW now, for more regular updates.
